The Tygers of Pan Tang lost their balls. Their first two albums are classics in the NWOBHM movement, and their third, while being sort of unmemorable, is enjoyable enough. Formed in 1978, the group originally featured lead vocalist Mark Butcher who was replaced by Jess Cox, guitarist and backing vocalist Robb Weir, bassist and backing vocalist Richard "Rocky" Laws, and drummer Brian "Big" Dick. "The Cage". FAIR : The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. 1 x 12" LP / Album - MCF3150. I have graded this record visually using the Record Collector Rare Record Guide Grading System. The Tygers of Pan Tang are Robb Weir (Guitar), Jacopo Meille (Vocals), Gav Gray (Bass) who played with the band at the 1999 Wacken festival re-union, Craig Elli s (Drums) who has been with the band since 2000 and the latest recruit was local North East guitar prodigy Micky Crystal who joined in 2013.

Tygers of Pan Tang are an English heavy metal band who are part of the new wave of British heavy metal movement. They formed in 1978 in Whitley Bay, England, and were active until 1987.The band reformed in 1999 and continue to record and perform. The name is derived from Pan Tang, a fictional archipelago in Michael Moorcock's Elric of Melniboné fantasy series whose wizards keep tigers as pets.
